Hi, everyone. We hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. We’ve enjoyed some time off but are about to enter a non-stop, fast paced schedule with 4 sales in the next three weeks. Yes, 4 sales. We hope as well that everyone is saving some of their hard earned dollars for the array of great sales we have the month of December. It’s always Black Friday (and Saturday, and Sunday) at Total Estate Sales. We do not believe in paying retail!
As you can see, we finally launched our new web site, just in time for our designer to leave for her honeymoon in Italy. As a result, we have a lot of content to add and some kinks to work out such as having a functional map in place. Please be sure to use your own mapping directions or navigation if you have questions on how to arrive at our sale. Please drop us a note on ways to improve our new site. Things you like, don’t like, what’s better, etc. It’s still a work in progress, for sure!

Our current sale is located in Mt. Pleasant’s Saltgrass Pointe in a designer owned home, full of brand name furnishings, accessories, and decor. We have great items from companies such as Celadon, Pier One, Stucky Brothers, Morris Sokol Furniture, Drexel Heritage and everything in between. There are many new or barely used items including bedding, linens, furniture, kitchen and more. Everything is clean and ready for it’s new home! We love these types of sales and know you will too!
We will let the photos do most of the talking, but here is a brief listing of items:
FURNITURE:
Living Room/Den: Pair of GDC offered Lee Industries over sized chairs, never used Braxton Culler blue and white checked occasional chair, complete DREXEL living room including barely used club chairs, DREXEL robins egg blue sofa, DREXEL 8.5×11 area rug, & DREXEL large ottoman, pair of chocolate brown contemporary LANE side tables, distressed CELEDON over sized side table, never used tropical print sofa, Stuckey Bros. distressed armoire, large, impressive pine armoire, Acquisitions tole print chair on wheels, never used Leather Master club chair, Feizy rug, Asian console table, distressed side occasional tables, designer ottoman and much more.
Bedroom: Queen Stearns and Foster mattress and box spring (no rails or headboard, an additional queen mattress, queen BALLARD DESIGNS upholstered bed, pair of twin beds with semi-custom palm tree designs, pair of twin mattresses (one is a Sealy and both were used a handful of times for guests), CELEDON distressed armoire/dresser, BASSET distressed dresser, king and queen bedding and more.
PLEASE NOTE: QUEEN HEADBOARD AND LARGE KITCHEN CUPBOARD UNIT ARE NOT FOR SALE.
Outdoor: Pier One glass and iron table with 4 matching woven chairs (good for a porch or kitchen but not all-weather), 4 quality outdoor lounge chairs, a pair of matching white painted benches for use indoors or outdoors, 4 additional outdoor patio chairs (not shown), several concrete statuary, outdoor accessories and misc. garage items and tools.
Dining: Mahogany dining room table w/4 chairs and one leaf. This is the perfect size for a small living area or for use as an conference table or work station for a small business.
Antique and reproductions: There are several mahogany drop leaf side tables, a fantastic antique Asian chest, several older lamps, a marble desk set and other misc. pieces.
Office: Stuckey Brothers distressed “X” base desk with hinged top to keep everything hidden inside. The last one like this we offered was in worn condition and had a ton of interest. This is far nicer!
ART/ACCESSORIES/DECOR: Vases, arrangements, framed prints and lots of other great accessories.
UNUSUAL: 5 huge, 12×18 Koralex nylon U.S. flags (see our photo.) The flags were actually made right here in Moncks Corner, South Carolina. New flags this size retail for $279 on the Koralex web site. Each has a minor tear along the edge and only needs an easy sew to keep in service. These would make the ultimate holiday decor that the neighbors could never top. Or, just open a car dealership…
FOOSBALL TABLE: Sportcraft, high quality table in lightly used condition. This is the nicest we’ve encountered or offered and is just in time for the holidays….And, it’s already assembled!
ELECTRONICS: Sony ES 5 disk changer, Sony ES receiver, Sony DVD player, a pair of VHS/DVD combo players, Sharper Image keyboards, Tivoli Model One radio, Bose 301 Series II speakers and cheap tv’s!
KITCHEN: Quality kitchen items including Williams Sonoma, Smoothie maker, toaster, electric ice crusher, never used items, a couple of Calphalon pots and more.
EXPRESSO MACHINES: Capresso expresso/coffee maker and a Krups Expresso maker (needs a replacement pot.)
KITCHENAID MIXER: Yes, another. K45SS. Clean machine!
BREAD MACHINE: Immaculate Williams Sonoma bread machine.
MOSQUITO MAGNET: Owner says it works but the lawn guys ran over and cut the cord, so that an easy fix for you handy guys and gals…
GUITAR: Gibson acoustic, not old.
CLOTHING: Brand name woman’s clothing including Lauren, Eileen Fisher, vintage Ferragamo shoes, designer suits, Gucci belt and more.
LINENS: We have a nice selection of quality linens and towels, some new and barely used. Waverly, Laura Ashley and more.
All in all, this is a super nice, clean sale with nothing but quality items all around. Come see us!
NEXT SALE: Our next sale is another great one. We will be back on Officer’s Row on Sullivans Island, just a couple of doors down from our previous sale. This sale should be on equal footing with even cleaner items. The owners are part of the family that formerly owned the nationally recognized Scalamandre fabric company, producers of some of the top fabrics in the world. They are adding the contents of a mobile storage unit being delivered from New York that we are anxious to uncover. Mark your calendars!
