Summerville
Our sale in Summerville starts this Friday at 10 a.m. in Wescott Plantation. The home belongs to an upholsterer and drapery maker and features super clean mahogany furniture by Sumter Furniture. Established in 1899, Sumter Cabinet (made in Sumter, SC) produced nationally marketed furniture comparable with names such as Thomasville and Henredon when quality construction was still made in the U.S.A. They did their best work at the time these were purchased in the late 1980′s. These pieces, ironically, were purchased in the Mid-West and found their way back to S.C. Sumter Cabinet is no longer in business, so this is a great opportunity to buy timeless, top quality furniture made here in South Carolina!
