Estate Buyout

Sometimes clients situations are not able to have a traditional estate sale.  For those needing a quick, and efficient means of liquidating household contents, we offer buyout services.  While this approach generally results in a lower payout there are several benefits.

Direct Sale

Our unique Direct Sale format allows customers to purchase items using our online shopping cart.  This feature can be used exclusively or as a compliment to both our  in home estate sales.

In Home Estate Sales

We provide turn key estate sale services.

Those items include china, glass, art, oriental rugs, lawnmowers, ladders, linens, garage items, tools, cleaning supplies, towels, outdoor items and more. Essentially, we sell anything other than food, opened personal hygiene items and personal papers.

No. While we offer full-service realty services, that is an independent component of our business and isn’t a requirement for selling the contents of your home.

We offer competitive rates commensurate with the services provided. Call us for an appointment and we will be happy to discuss our rates after viewing your potential sale.

No. Many sales are comprised of designer furnishings and contemporary items purchased within the past 30 years. We sell all items, including antique, vintage, and contemporary.

Most sales can be conducted with a week of intense preparation, but we would generally prefer a lead time of two weeks in order to maintain our sanity. However; we can put things together rapidly in an emergency situation, so please don’t hesitate to contact us. We are fortunate to be a busy company, so contact us ASAP if you are considering a sale.

No. While we prefer that you take care of all personal papers, photographs, etc, we can help with those items. While we generally don’t charge anything upfront to conduct a sale, there are some occasions where a minimal cleanup fee will be assessed according to the state of the home prior to our preparations. In the event a fee is assessed, that fee will be deducted from the final proceeds.

Yes, yes and yes. Our insurance and bonding information will be included with our professionally constructed contracts.

There are a variety of ways to dispose of remaining items, including bulk buyout by an independent third party, donation, and more. The ultimate decision will be determined by the executor or owner. We do not own nor have any intellectual rights to any items remaining at a sale’s end.

Yes. We are a full service estate sale company, offering complete cleanout and cleaning services. Our third party cleanout crew and cleaning services will ensure that your home is emptied and cleaned to a level expected by the new buyers. If your home is under contract, we advise that you allow at least two days after the completion of an estate sale in order to have the home emptied and cleaned.
